need to know if it working as designed, would like to report a bug otherwise
Anyway i fixed it locally by adding the Recursive option to the Clone
Wizard and enhancing the Git module.

Hello it seems Netbeans git clone submodules recursive is notworking as
expected in 12.0 LTS. I checked also with latest 12.2 beta 3 same issue.
Only first child submodules are found.
Exemple: this public git repo https://github.com/ivanarh/jndcrash
contains 6 submodules:
git submodule status --
