is issue #40717. For me in the snapshots, when I click on the bullets
button, the program indents, but no bullet appears. I have tried to
re-install the OpenSymbol font, but it hasn't helped.
The bullet shows up fine in 1.1.
I assume that you no longer have quattro-pro in order to 'save as'
something else.
Only other suggestion is to try a converter of some sort. Quick search
yielded this result, but there may be free ones out there as well :

When installing OOo you are asked if you want OpenOffice to open .doc
extensioned files.
How to correct ? - right click on the .doc file then "open as". Select
MS Word and make sure that you select "always use this application"...

the match function. It will return the row number of the matching data.
You can use that in an indirect address function to return the date.

I cannot replicate on either 1.1.2 nor 1.9.62 (both on XP mind you)...
Anyone else able to replicate ?
In general however it does sound like autocorrect/auto replace
functionality. Maybe a more indepth search may be required.
There is a GUI frontend which allows to create new databases. Its not like
Access, but it is a GUI none the less (some might find it even better)
