This reminds me of a bug in Excel: entering a number as text it keeps displaying it as a concatenated number (um, some scientific notation that shortens it's length, I'm 46, I forgot my math, ok! ;-) ) until the field is "touched" by clicking on the edit bar and hitting return! Format as text fail

I have installed 'open office' on my computer using windows XP and I can not find it in the START -All Program. Menu. There is no Icon on the screen either, but I'm not sure if there should be. I can see that the old Word files have been changed, so some thing has happened . Thank you Graham
