[users] Alter the X-axis range in a Chart from Calc as the year progresses

Using OpenOffice 2 Calc (Latest version)

 

I enter stock prices for specific dates and calculate a % growth/loss as the
year progresses

 

This is charted as Y-axis % and X-axis Date

 

How do I change the range of the X-axis as the year progresses to show 1,
then 2, then 3 months, etc?

 

I can alter the Y-axis range but can't find how to alter the X-axis range
apart from altering the source data range.
