The installation of openoffice 2.4 on my macintosh OSX 10.5.2 is not
working correctly. When I try to install and run it, openoffice just
hangs. Having read the support files, I suspect that the problem may
be the X11.app utility in /Applications/Utilities. When I try to run
X11 stand-alone (one of the help files suggested running X11 before
openoffice), X11 similarly hangs.
Is there a way to fix X11?
Failing that, can I install another version of openoffice?

I'm not sure where to find responses on the X11 bulletin board, so,
I'd appreciate responses both on the bulletin board and in mail to me
at [EMAIL PROTECTED] I know this isn't following protocol. I'm
just being pragmatic.
