[users] Calc problem

Windows XP, OpenOffice 2.0.  Calc spreadsheet program.  I set up a 
spreadsheet with a function for calculating the number of days based on 
2 dates.  Worked fine until I saved and reopened the spreadsheet.  Now 
it displays ##MACRO in my formula field.  If I retype any part of the 
formula, say delete a parenthesis and retype it, it works again until I 
save and reopen.  I'm saving in Excel format.
