I am building a bookkeeping system in BASE to replace the one I have
been using which is a series of Calc spreadsheets.
I have my Bank details in tblBanks (Name of bank; branch number;
address; etc)
and individual account details in tblBankAccts (Bank_ID; Account name;
Account number; etc

Currently my whole bookkeeping system for my business is in the form
of Calc spreadsheets and I am in the process of building an OOo Base
bookkeeping system to better handle the growing diversity of my
accounting needs.
When I produce an invoice I currently fill in a Calc spreadsheet invoice
I followed the directions of the OOo3 Getting Started to make a Fuel
form as on Figure 227, page 271 of the manual. It was interesting and I
learned things that I may find some use of in the future. My problem is
that because my default font size is bigger than the one they used in
the figures,

Just a couple of thoughts. I do not use Base but I have a rudimentary
document just so that I can check things out.
I have version 2.0.2 on a Linux OS. The File >Export menu item is

Dan,
Thanks for the info, I'll try it when I can install Java 1.5.
I am quite surprised that Oo needs Java 1.5 if we want Oo to get widely
adopted in the enterprise market. A lot of companies are still running
1.1.8 or (if I am lucky) 1.2. It is a huge problem to get them to

Oo and the "Save as" and "Export" options didn't show any more options
than before. I switched back to the original JRE and got the same
result. The

Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_06-b03, mixed mode)
Is there a way to check in OO where/what Java JRE it i

I have OO 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 installed on Windows 2000 and XP. Both of
them have the "File-Export" menu disabled and I don't understand why. I
checked the Help and could not find a reason why it is disabled.
Is the "Export" menu supposed to work on 2.0? Am I missing an optional
module?
