I take it your are using Windows? Probably Vista? What do you mean by "my list of programs"? What does it say is downloaded? That is, what is the exact file name you have dowloaded? Hint: Go to the Folder Options and untick "Hide file extensions of known types" (or words to that effect) so that you can see the full file name. Where (that is, in what folder or directory) is it stored? It *should* be an executable file (something like OOo_2.3.0_Win32Intel_install_en-US.exe).
