I have a Mac with PPC G3, OSX 10.3.9 and 384 MB of
RAM.
X11 1.0 XFree86 4.3.0 is installed
I have downloaded OOo 2.4 for the Mac and installed it
into the Applications folder.
OOo can apparently be started but it quits immediately
when attempting any action such as opening an odt
file.

X11 is on the OS 10.4 install disk, under options. I presume you got
the X11 application from the Apple Website. That file is for OS
10.3. I have not found the 10.4 X11 anywhere except the install disk.
