Gene, in my experience there are never any difficulties in removing OpenOffice.org - did you download the suite from the OpenOffice.org website ? In any event, the best tool I know for getting rid of obstinate programmes is RevoUninstaller, a free version of which is found at www.revouninstaller.com....
