I am using 2.1 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is with Word Count. I ran it on the whole document (including the cover page) and it said 519 words. Then I selected the writing (not the cover page) and it said that the selection was 724 words (even more if the cover page was included). This is important since my professors require certain word counts and I need to be sure of the accuracy.
