To put it bluntly, why bother? It's free software and registration is
only to give OpenOffice.org some idea of how many people are using it.
If the machine is totally unconnected, don't expend any effort to
register, imho. It's not like you get a warranty or service if you do.

Thanks for getting back to me. I tried this option the first time the
registration popup reappeared and unfortunately it doesn't stop the
popup. I tried selecting these options running as root got the same
result.
