We still don't understand what you mean by "URL categorization". What would
be the observed effect of it? What actions would you expect such a proxy to
perform?

Also, if you are using ATS 9, you might look at the (experimental) plugin
"TxnBox" - http://docs.solidwallofcode.com/txn_box.
URL filtering is implicit in "remap.config". If remapping is required, then
any URL that doesn't match a remap rule isn't forwarded, filtering it out.
Each remap rule can perform different actions for the request for finer
grained filtering.

Hi,
Based on the ATS version, I would like to decide on the API in the plugin
that should be compiled. Is there an ATS version macro that I can make use
of ?
Thanks

Hello Trilok, if by filtering you mean, modify requests/responses based on
incoming/outgoing headers, etc, then yes, please have a look at this:
https://docs.trafficserver.apache.org/en/latest/admin-guide/plugins/header_rewrite.en.html
or
https://docs.trafficserver.apache.org/en/latest/admin-guide/
Please need advise if ATS supports URL filtering? Doesn't show much on the
documentation page. If ATS doesn't support can it be integrated with any
third party solutions
Regards
Trilok
