I must be missing really good directories for sound effects. I need a free,
royalty free sound effect of the Tornado Siren that you hear when fire
stations alarm you about tornadoes.
I am getting frustrated because I have been all over freesound, the internet
archive, and Google trying to find one

Ok, on Windows I recommend Pinnacle Studio Plus 10 ($100) or if your
adventerous Avid Liquid ($300 last I checked).
Pinnacle can: chromakey a blue/green screen, use two video layers and

Be careful about one thing: Make sure the file output will work with your
editor and make sure the audio/video sync. Before I moved to tape I used a
point and shoot camera that outputted to .ASF and the audio/video would be
out of sync. It also only recorded GOOD speed at 320x240.
