We used to do double shelving - the cases were out on the shelves. For multi
disc sets, each disc was in it's own pocket/sleeve, with the title and barcode
on it, as well as the sequence of 1 of 4, 2 of 4, 3 of 4 and 4 of 4, or however
many discs were in the set.

Hi Lori,
For our media collection of dvds, we catalog each disc, create separate cases,
and photocopy (b&w or color) the cover art for the additional cases. Each case
has an individual barcode so checkout is simple.
