TASK DESCRIPTION

Background

We would like to customize page previews to appear in wikidata. We would like to investigate whether these previews can appear in the user-selected language

Acceptance criteria

Investigate the following questions:

  • Can we provide wikidata previews that include wikidata label and description in the user's prefered language using RESTBase?
  • Can we do the same using the mediawiki api (while using RESTBase for all other projects)?
  • Would either of these solutions be problematic from a performance perspective?
