Re: Tiling not working for me
Hi Carlos, It works like you said. When I read 'tiling' I got another expectation, that the open windows could arrange themselves respecting their relative sizes and positions, in the 'best' way. This new maximization option maximizes the window in the maximal possible way such that it does not overlap or covers other windows already present in the workspace. If your window is already on top of others or partially overlapping them, then it is fully maximized. Do this test. Open two xterm windows side by side in an otherwise empty workspace such that they don't overlap each other. Now apply Maximus to one of them and see what happens. -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].
Tiling not working for me
Hi, There's an option to tile: Maximus: tiled maximization that I'd like to use from time to time. However when I right-click the title bar of a window and choose it, the window gets maximized and other windows do not divide the screen space with the active window in a tiled manner. Is this just not working or do I need an extra step to do it? $ wmaker --version Window Maker 0.95.8 $ uname -r -o 4.10.6_1 GNU/Linux Luis -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].
