I upgraded my laptop to Ubuntu 18.04 today, and I encountered the libcurl
issue. The solution for me was to remove libcurl4-openssl-dev and install
libcurl4-gnutls-dev. Recompiling Xastir after that change left me with an

Prior to new map sources we need to get the related scripts in the
scripts folder under control and up to date.
Lots of dead links and referrals to old versions of programs that would
cause systems to break.

I have castor running and have downloaded and extracted 4gb of maps including
the standard load of aprs maps. The problem is nothing ever appears on screen
other than the individual station locations. What is the easy fix or test to
see why they do not display?

Michael, we really don't have much information. I have raster
I removed Xastir completely. Both by telling my package manager to removeit,
and then by manually going to all of the directory locations ~/... and user
share…. and manually deleting all of the files. I them re-installed it by
having the package manager re-install.
