Subject: Re: ShopTalk: Replacement Shafts for Lynx Black Cat Irons
Jents-
Does anyone out there have any ideas for replacement shafts (steel, reg or stiff) for Lynx Black Cat irons. It looks like a tapered hosel, but someone said that the originals were a "flared" shaft that is not made anymore. Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
Jack

Jack,
I did a reshaft of a broken iron shaft. Forget about normal taper or parallel fitting these without the proper bushing ferrule. I used a parallel tip shaft with a ferrule that just happened to fit perfectly. I may have some more if you are just repairing one club.
