Lloyd. It was the head.This past summer I borrowed a Cobra 290 SS with a
precision lite steel shaft. I hit it rather well much to my amazement.Then I
reshafted it with a TT Ei 70. I reshafted it cause it wasn't mine.
Different frequencies,different weight yet high launch and straight ball
flight with both shafts. I even offered to buy the club. I now own a 350 ss
offset and nail it. I have built many drivers over the years and believe me
the head plays just as an important part in ball flight  than the shaft.
