Serbian Orthodox church of St. Nicholas in Pristina was stoned
again yesterday evening by Kosovo Albanian hooligans. Damage was made
on the entrance door of the church and several windows were broken on the church
and the parish home.
The incident occurred shortly after 21.00 and this is the second attack of this kind in the last month and the sixth in this year.
The stoning of St. Nicholas church occurred in the same day when NATO leadership appealed on Kosovo Albanians to show more tolerance and readiness for building multiethnic society.
Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Raska and Prizren strongly condemns this latest attack and requests from UNMIK police to arrest the perpertrators. So far not a single attacker on 112 destroyed or damaged Serbian Orthodox churches has been brought to justice.
