Hi folks: Many of you who have purchased the incredible HKM 4.29 meter all glass ASW-27 have inquired about other "next step" molded scale ships. The problem is that their are very few high quality molded ships that are very complete and ready for customer servo installation. First, let me say, I am very careful about the planes I sell and companies that I represent. I don't need problems with quality or service from my suppliers, and my customers deserve consistent quality of construction AND superior flying characteristics. All this now having been said, I have a new molded ship available that fills the gap between the asw-27 and the large 6-meter molded ships(which by the way, are very few at this time). I have met with Ralf Scheifele owner of EMS for the last two days and subsequently taken delivery of the new EMS all molded Ventus 2c combination 4 meter and 4.8 meter sailplane. I have the prototype in my shop and will be testing it at my field as soon as I get it prepared to fly. This plane raises the bar for molded sailplane excellence. Complete EMS details including, hard-shell molded skin(like RIPO but light!), full carbon laminated spar, cockpit, metal scale retract (improved design), wiring in place, multipin servo connectors in place, glass or steel wing rod, and two complete sets of wing tips and extensions.
