One thing to watch for in a countdown watch.  If it's got more than seconds,
it may be hard to count down for the pilot.  As the seconds will be one
second off of what the actual time left is.  It's kind of hard to explain,
but just think of reading the seconds... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0.  When the seconds
changes from 1 to 0, the timer usually declares 0.  Well, there's a second
left.
