What Clarence says. In addition, here's a note about the acid flux that comes with the Silver Solder.
If you don't want to be tasting metal for the next few months, wear a NIOSH respirator, solder outside, wear disposable gloves, and station yourself up wind. If you get any on you, wash it off immediately. And if you don't want residues that attach to local surfaces getting back on yourself and other things, wash every surface near the actual soldering. Nothing that's not already on the MSDS for the Silver Solder / Acid flux (typically Zinc Chloride and Hydrochloric Acid) kit, but worth reminding. Get lazy once, earn yourself a metallic taste for a long while.
