Hi all, I am part of a committee here in NZ that has been asked to look at implementing safety rules regarding inspections of large aerotowed models. I see you have some pretty large scale sailplanes in use over there and I assume you are likely to have some sort of safety/inspection checklist at major events before the glider is allowed to participate? If you have a copy I could view please send to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Also, we need a suitable rule of thumb for tow release checks. At what point does the tow release mechanism still need to release? Under a load equal to the weight of the glider or 2x weight etc. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Les.
