High expectations for cheap stuff, creates disappointment. Used for tiny stuff the Hs55's are as good as the cost and last a little longer than that. Most of you guys fall for the advertising. "Oooh! Metal gears!!! " Course you don't care if the metal is lead or mercury just so you 'got' metal.. like as if that is an indicator of 'quality'. Or "High Torque, super low weight and under $20 too!!" but who cares if the only way you can get a servo motor at that kind of performance and size is if it has low heat varnish on the windings or the brushes are so soft they where out on the first few overloads of torque and their holders are made of such thin metal that they lose their tension due to YOU turning them into heating elements by each time you ask for that torque. Think about it....remove the connector from that battery pack (doesn't matter if its 110mah or 2000mah) then strip the wires and then quick twist them together, the quick pull em apart...something in that system becomes a heating element when you cause a load spike, and it is gonna be the weakest link in the system. 55's aren't junk, they are excellent servos,,,, just don't use em where you need more..beef. There ain't no free lunch ...or servos. :-) G RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Send "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
