I passed one on to one of our club members. It is a great flier, and is
fairly predictable for scale aerobatic slopers. It's flight envelope
leans toward light to medium wind.
It is great quality, clean, and penetrates well, very good at
aerobatics, including outside loops. I would advise against adding
ballast though. It is also available from Etienne at ICARE.
Another scale sailplane in the same range is the HF ASW-28. Hollow
molded wings with molded-in winglets, great quality similar to Gerasis
(slightly better), "very" light, and flys as good if not better than the
Fox in all areas of the flight envelope. I have finished pics of both if
anyone is interested. The ASW-28 is availabel in two sizes from ICARE.
With all the big and fast stuff available, there it is very refreshing
and peaceful going out and flying in marginal conditions with an
efficient, composite scale sailplane.
