I've been flying HLG/DLG (~11oz AUW, 4oz/ft2 wing loading) for some time and I'm considering upgrade to a 2m floater with 6-servo full house capability.
I'm not sure what AUW or wing loading should be for a 2m floater that feel like (in terms of thermal capability) a HLG/DLG while maintain a reasonable penetration capability (possible light wind slope soaring). Following is some of the choices available on the market with fully- or partially-molded, winch-launchable 2m floaters.
