I couldn't agree with you more Jim. Don is truly talented and one of the nicest people I have ever met (I was lucky enough to meet him at the SWC this past Feb). Even after I received my Icon, Don has followed up with me by phone and e-mail to make sure everything is going together alright. He also promptly responded to an issue I was having with the plane and sent me detailed hand written instructions and a repair kit to correct the issue. "Icon - $1800, service after the sale - Priceless". I haven't flown my Icon-lite yet (Saturday will be maiden flight) but I have seen what Jim, Cap'n Jack and others have done with them in the OVSS as well as JW. Now I have no more excuses, pressure is on my flying now. 8^0!!

ICON Because it was designed and built in the USA by some gentlemen that I really respect. And it works really well. This will be my 5th season flying ICON's. Both the models you mention are quite capable, though. It doesn't have to be a binary choice, get the one that you can find now to fly, and plan for the acquisition of the one you want in the future.
