I've had really good luck getting large sheets of cardboard from the
back of furniture stores. I'd just use my long straight edge and a
screwdriver to score and bend the cardboard into box shapes. Lately,
I've found another source for ready made boxes. It's a store that
sells vertical blinds. The boxes are longer than what is needed to
ship open class planes. The width and thickness are perfect and they
are very sturdy cardboard. At one time I looked into buying boxes, but
in order to get a good deal, I'd have to buy in bulk and I don't ship
enough airplanes to justify that. I hope this information helps.
