EMS Albatross: This is a semi-scale 4M wingspan ship that weighs 10.5-11 pounds. Uses the HQW 3/13 airfoil (used on many scale ships) and can be aerotowed or winched, it has a hooked installed and a dolly for towing that is included. It has obechi sheeted wings with white covering tops over flat back bottoms (for visibility) and has nine servos operating A,E,R,S,F,TR. All the main flight surfaces (E, A) are JR Digitals and the rest are Hitec and Airtronics. It also includes the Easy-Patch system that Shredair sold for ships with lots of servos that isolates all electronics and allows dual 1900 mah batteries to operate the system, it is impressive and the servos do not make a sound. All surfaces are direct running except the rudder. It also has beautiful tipsails, this thing really looks cool. The color scheme is a scale ship look with a canopy painted on the nose cone that covers a keel where the rudder servo, Easy patch, and batteries are mounted. This ship is very capable of cross country work as well and was the 2004 National Champion at Muncie, wished Jim would have taken a pic for the mag so you could see it. The only pic I know of it is at www.cincinnatisoaring.org/index_new.htm and it is not a good one but you can get a bit of a look at it. John Derstine can answer questions on the ship as well. If you are flying a Stylus, can send the set up via the memory card. This ship will be at the Aerotow in Muncie next weekend if the weather gets any better. Price: $1800.00 plus shipping As in any case would rather make a hand off of these ships as opposed to shipping. Marc Gellart RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
