The longer I look at the words "plague" and "plaque" the weirder both seem.
Webster says "plague" is a scourge and "plaque" is a trophy and,
incidentally, the only kind worth winning IMHO. The aluminum/brass plates
have other uses and the wood parts make great bases when drilling a hole in
something.

Uhhhhhhhh, are you REALLY sure you want to give the winners the plague?
keep the main trophy the way it is but just give a small non returning
plague to the 2-5 or 2-3 spots up in front of everone @ Visalia.
