There are only few non-governmental organizations or NGOs assisting civilians in Kajo-Keji County, says commissioner. Luka Yombek tells Radio Bakhita that the number of NGOs left the area due to insecurity and many have relocated theirs headquarters to Uganda. He says there are some NGOs that went to the area to assess the situation. The commissioner urges civilians to return home to start harvest their crops as the rainy season is approaching. He advises them to use the main road to avoid dangers. Earlier, church leaders say most of the internally displaced persons are sheltering in church compounds. Last month, Ugandan media reported that most of the training and church institutions have relocated to Uganda. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/southsudankob View this message at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/southsudankob/topic-id/message-id For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
