Hi Mark, It is commonplace to hear such mistakes, whether intentional or not remains the question. I often question the means of the engineering side of things. I often wonder what the media is for the numbers, tape, computer, ect. All I can say is that at the end of V2c and V2a messages, you hear a click afterwards... like a telephone is being hung-up. This is always immediate, I have never heard a transmission without this click right at the end.. it must be an automated telephone patch, I suggest the poor audio quality has plenty to do with the means in which the audio is sent.. which is probably through a telephone line from HQ to the transmitter site. 73 Tom --- Mark Taylor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Visit http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/spooks > to unsubscribe from this list > > While reviewing a recording of V2c from this morning > (local time), I noticed > a late start time of 0921 - 0941 (usual end time.) > > The call up was: > A 346 72 (X5) Pause repeated X3 > A 346 72 (X2) 346(?) 631 into 5 # groups with the > usual pause after each > 10th group.
