There is a very specific definition in '13-13.3.16 for limited combustible. It involves very specific tests and very objective criteria. Don't say they can't use the plexi-glass. Ask for the appropriate test for whatever they use. Now I'm rather sure they won't be able to produce the test for plexi-glass. If the AHJ approves it anyway then it's a risk decision on the contractors part.
