Can you post your squidguard.conf file ?
My configuration is too simple and use user authentication, so i can set 
individual permissions.

I Have my sites working blocking sites but don't know how to setup the 
whitelist. I don't use any ip >based groups etc so therefore only have the 
default acl.
so you have something like this ?

default {
    pass !deny1 !deny2 !deny3 !deny4 all
    redirect xxxxxxx
}

Can you explain what do you want to achieve ?
