This article is not precisely about Medis, but Redstone seems extremely high on them. We did an interview on them in evworld.com a few years ago. At the time the verdict was that their technology wasn't precisely scalable, so we weren't really looking at something that could power a vehicle. But for smaller applications, while they did have competition, they seemed somewhat unique. They could use ethanol, for example, whereas all the others were talking only about methanol. And Redstone adds that they don't need platinum.
