Ah yes, I see. Good point. The error message in Range here is illuminating
ValueError: Inputs to Range must be Integer Valued
Use TransformationSets of Ranges for other cases
If summation supported TransformationSets and it supported the current
Range (which is does in all but syntax) then this would be trivial.
A simple solution might be to extend the Range constructor so that if it is
called with a non-integer step argument that it creates a TransformationSet
of a Range.
In this way the user is shielded from the syntax of constructing a
TransformationSet object (it is done automatically) but we maintain a
relatively small set of powerful primitives.
This is just an idea though. I suppose there are probably better ones.
