Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) is mobilizing rapidly for a USAID-financed mapping project<http://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/hot/2013-February/002742.html>of the northern corridor. The field work of the project may start as soon as early March and last for 4 months. The mapping activities will be based in Limonade in conjunction with the local university. HOT will be choosing 12 advanced mappers and 2 coordinators for the project to help train and supervise the mapping activities of 60 new mappers. Brian and I will conduct a first review of candidates for advanced mappers and coordinators on Wednesday, February 13th, at the Haiti Communitere base at 19, rue Pelican, Clercine 4. We will be at the base from 9am to 4pm. All interested are encouraged to arrive and bring with them: 1) A letter stating your interest to be hired for the project and what you have done before related to OpenStreetMap and possibly other mapping activities. (max 1 page) 2) Your resume (CV) We will do an overview test of your OSM skills and computer knowledge. If you can not come to the event but are interested about the project please email me.
