The cave deserves to be some kind of preserve, but is so far away from any cavers, that it would be difficult to manage. It is an interesting cave, but has only been briefly mentioned in caving literature. The most in depth article was in the TSS publication entitled, "Caves and Pseudokarst of East Texas."
