By the way, ARM describes how to bit-fields should be laid out in http://infocenter.arm.com/help/topic/com.arm.doc.ihi0042d/IHI0042D_aapcs.pdf sections 4.3.4 and 7.1.7. So for EABI compliance, this needs to be fixed.
