Position Announcement

The James Madison University School of Psychology is seeking applicants for
several tenure-track faculty positions.  These faculty will be expected to
teach Research Methods (Psychological Statistics or Experimental
Psychology), and courses for psychology majors in one or more of the
following areas: Developmental Psychology, Personality, Health Psychology,
Biopsychology, Human Learning, Sensation and Perception, Cognitive
Psychology, or General Education courses in Vision and Audition or Life-Span
Human Development.  Teaching will be primarily at the undergraduate level,
but there will be opportunities to teach graduate versions of these courses
as well.  Expertise in applied and qualitative research methods is
desirable.  Appropriate doctoral degree and teaching experience preferred.
Other responsibilities include developing an active program of research,
supervising undergraduate and/or graduate student research, advising
students, and engaging in service activities.
