The Department of Psychology and Counseling at the University of
Central Arkansas invites applicants for: One (1) position in
Clinical/Counseling Psychology at the Assistant Professor level,
PH.D. in Clinical/Counseling Psychology required, area of
specialization is open; One (1) position in School Psychology at the
Assistant Professor level, Ph.D. in School Psychology required, area
of specialization is open; One (1) position in Experimental
Psychology at the Assistant Professor level, area of specialization is
open.  The successful candidates will have the option of a tenure
track position at competitive salary or a three-year, annually
renewable position with a starting salary at the national average for
assistant professors  in psychology.  The department has been
authorized to offer a Ph.D. in School Psychology by the Arkansas
Department of Higher Education, and is applying for approval to the
North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Positions begin
fall 2000.  Screening to begin March 1, 2000 and continue until filled.
