Off the top of my head, and at the risk of confirming the notorious US
ignorance about geography...
Detroit MI, and you travel north from Windsor Ont. to get there. Sorta
northwest, IIRC, either through a tunnel or over a bridge.
Re. the political discussion - I plead guilty and apologize. I think that
the statistical question and the design question are both fascinating
though.
