On a Mac, OS 10.4.4
It doesn't work in Mail, the Apple email client.
In Word 2004 it does. The mechanism is to scale the view of the
entire document just as if you had changed the scale in the tool bar.
It doesn't matter where the cursor is.
In Excel 2004 it does in the same manner as Word.
In Safari it doesn't.
In Mariner Write 3.7.1 it doesn't.
