time episode, and then dealing with all of the residual effects.  There is a
very small percentage, however, who have recurrent TM.  Then of course,
there are relapsing  Devic's patients like me who face an
indeterminable number of new myelitis attacks.  For recurrent TM and Devics,
immunosuppression or chemo is the rule.*
