Hi Kevin!

Glad to read that you are pushing on, pushing through!

At long last I have PT at home and there's a difference.
I feel intense tingling in my feet. She said I have great
range of motion.

Every day i being with a stretch, touching toes, rubbing my feet,
resting my head on my knees. I pull my legs up-- this is getting
harder and harder as they get heavier and heavier, but still
I do this.

I want to have everything as limber as possible to mitigate
the effects of unuse for the hope of reconnection.

Pre TM I did yoga and this old practice has stood me in good stead.
I'm reminded by writing this to try and do it again, to manualy
move my legs into some positions.

The challenge is getting on my stomach in the hospital bed...
there's not quite enough room for me to roll over,
it would be easier if I had my old double, otoh, I need a bed
i can raise and lower, to get in and out of it.

Yes this cold is brutal, I put on another layer, just to open the door and grab
the mail.

Anyway, did your PT talk about stretching and give you exercises between visits?
Cheers,
Akua

I'm still having contracture in both legs. It is painful when I try to straighten my legs more than about 60 degrees, my knees just won't allow them to straighten any further

I recently completed about 3 months of painful physical therapy at home, and now
I am in the process of trying to arrange wheelchair transport to an outpatient
PT group. The 20 degree weather is not helping, but I have to do this.

Years of being sedentary/bedridden has caused this according to the PT. I guess
I just gave up when my Mom got sick and passed, but I'm trying the best I can.

Best to all,
Kevin
