Actually, it is a painful spasm.    The spasms are the knee-jerking reflexes 
that keep you awake all nite.    It is miserable.

        The Gabapentin will not help spasms.    It is Baclofen that works on 
spasms – it completely takes it away for me,

                John, do you have paralysis and spasms?  And is that why the 
neuro has you on such a high dose?
