Mariana; I believe Holger's assumption is correct, that you are creating files in system folders. Please have a look at the TopBraid Composer Getting Started Guide (found at http://www.topquadrant.com/products/support.html). One of the first steps for using Composer is to create a project to save your files and data connectors. Creating new files in system projects is not advisable, and to prevent modifying system files all files in system projects are marked read-only on system re-start.
