That is a good sign. The development team has been chasing its tail for over a year just trying to get someone (anyone) to set a concrete spec for the Touch. By freezing things, the development team can at least tackle the last handful of high priority bugs. A couple of those bugs look pretty gnarly, though, so I don't expect a surprise release of the Touch tomorrow.
